What We Do

“STEPS, St Andrews Education for Palestinian Students, provides funding to allow talented young Palestinians to come to the University of St Andrews for one year to study for a Master’s Degree. Applications in all disciplines are considered. Our aim is to better enable Palestinian students to return and make a contribution to Palestinian civil society. STEPS provides for their expenses: travel, health insurance, accommodation and monthly maintenance. STEPS needs to raise about £15,000 per student per year. Applicants must first be accepted by the University for the Master’s course of their choice. Then they must apply for a STEPS scholarship. The closing date for applications for a STEPS scholarship is usually in mid-April each year. Details of how to apply are on the University of St Andrews website
