“STEPS, St Andrews Education for Palestinian Students, provides funding to allow talented young Palestinians to come to the University of St Andrews for one year to study for a Master’s Degree. Applications in all disciplines are considered.Our aim is to better enable Palestinian students to return and make a contribution to their society.STEPS provides for their expenses: travel, health insurance, accommodation and monthly maintenance. STEPS needs to raise about £15,000 per student per year. Applicants must first be accepted by the University for the Master’s course of their choice. Then they must apply for a STEPS scholarship. The closing date for applications for a STEPS scholarship is usually in mid-April each year. Details of how to apply are on the University of St Andrews website
